Raindrops on Bonsai
Practicing the Presence

When we are an alert presence, placing one foot in front of the other, there is no separation anymore between the secular and the sacred, between ourselves and God.
Richard Rohr
Nature. . .Finding God there lately. Reading so much about it. Meditations. Reflections.
OMG. . .In So Many Ways. . . Peeking at God in nature.
Not sure it’s the actual presence. Doubts continue to haunt my vistas. But something in me senses something about God. Noticing morphs into a stirring.
OMG. . .difficult to explain. Maybe not supposed to explain. How does the head explain a feeling?
Nevertheless, it’s there. This feeling. This presence.
Like raindrops on a bonsai.
Why have I not noticed such a fragile balance before? Tiny fragments of water. Water from a downpour the previous evening. Now tender circles clinging to branches on a bonsai.
Stop. Look. Take it in. This is God. I am standing this close to God.
OMG.. .do you believe that? This droplet of moisture dangling from a bonsai is God before me.
I think I do. At least I did when I raised the blinds this morning.
Practicing the presence, without even knowing that’s what I was doing.
OMG. . .In So Many Ways. . .Raindrops on a Bonsai.
A morning drop of dew contains everything we need for the day. Spend a long moment in its presence. 🙏🥰❤️🦌❤️ Wyn
Lovely, Carol. Thank you.
