The Theme Continues

God is talking, this Lent. Have you heard him?

I love you. You are enough. You don't need to prove your worth to me.

Let me prove my love for you. Again. And always.

There's nothing about you that cannot come into my light. Nothing you need to hide.

You are wrapped in my Grace. Always. Forever.

The theme continues this Lent. Not a wandering in the wilderness.

But Love. Grace. Acceptance. Honesty. Vulnerability.

Not at all expected.

I am experiencing a different kind of Lent this year......One that has nothing to do with giving up something for Lent, which has be the theme in past years, but is truly realizing that God's love and caring is always with me. That I am not alone, which is a deep, soulful feeling.

I think Grace might be another word for forgiveness. Or in my case “non-judgy”. Feels kind of good, actually! My Grace candle is lit as I type!
