You know when someone says turn to the person next to you?
OMG. . .In So Many Ways. . .where’s the nearest exit?
And share this or that? I really want to find the door! I mean do I know you? Why should I disclose myself. Because someone has given the command “turn to the person next to you . . .”
OMG. . .In So Many Ways. I don’t think so.
But there I am. Sitting in a church pew. Listening to a sermon on putting a little fun in life. That’s right. A sermon on being playful. Stepping out of our comfort zone. Kind of unusual. . . to say the least.
So turn to the person next to you and tell them what you might do this week to be playful. Be a little different than you normally are. Have fun!
Hmmm – you go first. Lucy replied, “Don’t know if it’s being playful, but I’m doing a poetry reading at the local book store. Pretty much out there for me. It’s the me that I’m not always.”
OMG. . .In So Many Ways. . .the me that I’m not always. Love that. I believe it’s a description of my life since moving to Santa Fe. People think this has always been me. No, it hasn’t.
The me that I’m not always. Something in this place, called “The City Different”, has given me permission. To enjoy God’s wonders - all around me. To not take things quite so seriously. To embrace my lighter side. To welcome the me that I’m not always and then invite this strange new creature to stick around awhile!
Have you ever felt like that? The me that I’m not always. I hope so. Feels pretty good!
OMG. . .In So Many Ways.
as always you walk through the door of opportunity and reap the harvest.😍 Love, Wyn
