GOLD SHOES

AND A

Rhine River

Cruise

It's taking awhile to commit my thougths to paper. Not quite sure why. Unless because some encounters are . . .well. . .of God. And how does one put words to a mystery?

Two friends (not everyday talking kind of friends or even occassional get together kind of friend, but soul friends, who when they connect . . .it is on a deep level) catching up on life in an email.

And the mystery slips in. God is revealed in the teling of two stories about family.

A granddaughter's new outfit for her fifth grade graduation. A brother taking his first -ever cruise with his two sisters.

Different. Yet the same. Same reasons. Different circumstances. Same mystery.

The spirit weaving through the exchange. Celebrate your family. Because in the end, that is what's important after all!

As years pass by, our family changes. It becomes smaller. Death is a contant reminder. No time for procastinanting. Show your love. Because this is the mystery - God chose you to be part of your family.

We look in the mirror. How did we get here? By God's grace! And every once in awhile, the mystery tiptoes into an encounter. With a reminder. Of the important things in life.

Like gold glittery shoes and a Rhine River cruise.

Definitey. . .an OMG. . .In So Many Ways!

I read the lines, I read between the lines...I'm moved and inspired. Thankful for the mystery and thankful for you. 🥰

And the feeling is mutual. I know God comes to us through others. Sometimes I can look at a person and think “I’m listening to a message from God right now”. Soul friends get that. You were my God Angel!
