Holy Week. Begins.

It used to mean Palm Sunday. . .then jump to Easter. Skip the bad stuff.

Maundy Thursday. Good Friday. Holy saturday. Ignore those. Only give me mountain tops. No valleys

They were scary. Brought uncertainty.. Like peeking into the tomb. Dark. Musty. Take me back to the light.

. Until. . .we are called into a new creation. How can death be called into a new creation?

It happened so slowly. . This new creation. This saying yes to ALL of Holy Week

The tomb still scares me. Because I don't need certainty anymore. I don't know what will happen.

What I do know is I am not the same person. Broken parts are being healed. I have been resurrected from the tombs of my own making. And that will continue.

I think I'll hold the hand of Jesus. He understands ALL of Holy Week.. We'll walk it together.
