Disclaimer – this reflection is not going to be very profound (well, maybe the others aren’t that insightful either!) But I’ve been tripping over this thought the past few days.
OMG. . .In So Many Ways. . .Celebrate the Small Stuff.
You see, I believe I’ve forgotten that notion recently. Life is rolling along rather nicely. So let’s keep up the momentum. Look for the miracles. Participate in the big events. Upward trajectory at all times.
OMG. . .In So Many Ways. . .forgetting to Celebrate the Small Stuff.
Like, I can walk Molly and Lucy (separately of course!). Not far. Not for long. But I couldn’t do that a few months ago. Celebrate.
The yellow and purple wild flowers are showing up at the side of the road. Just weeds. Won’t last long. They always make me smile. Celebrate.
As I’m walking Molly, I see a neighbor with their dog coming my way. He knows I have much to handle. He yells “Carol, I’ll go the other way.” Such kindness. Celebrate.
Ping. “I love you so much, Grammie. How are Molly and Lucy?” from Emma.
Ping. “I love you Grammie. I miss you.” From Harrison.
(When did they learn how to send a text?)
OMG. . .In So Many Ways. . .Celebrate walks and weeds and a neighbor and grandchildren and . . .and. . . .and. . .
Fill in the blanks with your small stuff and celebrate them.
